Chicago SAFE ZONE Alert Pro is a driving-awareness application for Android. It is designed to help drivers stay aware when approaching mapped safety zones in Chicago — including areas near schools, parks, pedestrian crossings, and other high-activity public areas derived from publicly available municipal safety-related data.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and what is never done with it.
Chicago SAFE ZONE Alert Pro is an independently developed application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or sponsored by the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois, or any government agency.
The app uses your device GPS location to provide real-time safety-zone alerts while driving.
Location access is used solely to compare your current position against the app's locally bundled safety-zone database in order to provide audio and visual proximity alerts.
Your location is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers, never stored externally by us, and never shared with third parties.
The app does not use your location for advertising, profiling, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
The safety-zone database used by the app is bundled directly inside the application at the time of installation.
Safety-zone information is derived from publicly available municipal and traffic-safety-related data sources, including publicly accessible information provided by the City of Chicago.

The database may be updated periodically through application updates distributed via the Google Play Store.
The app does not require account creation, sign-in, or submission of personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
The app offers a one-time purchase to unlock the full version.
All payment transactions are securely processed entirely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store payment or billing information.
The app does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs or advertising identifiers.
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google LLC) to automatically collect anonymous crash reports if the application encounters unexpected errors.

Crash diagnostics are used solely to identify and fix software issues.
